MEET YOUR GUIDE

Hello, I’m Brigitte

For more than a decade, my life revolved around trying to save someone I loved from addiction.

I believed that if I loved harder, helped more, worried enough, and sacrificed enough, maybe I could hold everything together. So I became hyper-responsible. I over-gave, over-carried, and abandoned my own needs. Slowly, almost without realizing it, I lost myself.

What I learned about survival

I also spent twenty years working inside the prison system, where I saw firsthand what chronic stress does to the nervous system and how survival patterns become identities. Many women live this way too: always managing, anticipating, caretaking, and carrying emotional weight that was never fully theirs to carry.

The invisible prison bars

One day I saw it clearly: I had become both the warden and the prisoner. Fear, over-responsibility, hypervigilance, self-abandonment, and exhaustion were bars I could not see, but they were real.

The beginning of my release

Only I held the keys. I had to choose my own healing, my own truth, my own life. Sacred Feminine Recovery™ was born from that journey. My work is not about controlling another person’s addiction or choices. It is about recovering the self you lost while trying to save everyone else.

Healing is remembering that your life is sacred too.
